In UN17 we have created a village with different types of housing that accommodate residents across generations, interests and changing family patterns. In the Crown we have put extra focus on both mental and physical health, through community and a healthy indoor climate. An important part of a healthy life is also to think about our climate, so we have focused on minimising the CO2 footprint of the building by using large amounts of wood in the construction. This provides good conditions for a healthy life. In the 80 homes we have worked to optimise the indoor climate by focusing on good light, both daylight and electric light, reduced noise and an extra high air quality. In particular, the homes have closed kitchens with high-efficiency hoods, tested materials and several have large closed wardrobes so that we minimise circulation through food, dust and other particles. The accommodation is bright with a good plan solution and furnished with nice oak parquet and underfloor heating. The beautiful climate-friendly kitchen is from Rotpunkt with everything in white goods, induction cooktop, fridge / freezer cabinet, built-in oven and dishwasher. The bathroom is covered with beautiful tiles and a separate shower. The floor heating fuses, and there is of course the absolutely indispensable washing machine and dryer. There is a shared rooftop terrace overlooking Amager Fælledet, and when you live in the Crown you have access to community facilities throughout the UN17 Village, which include community rooms, dining hall, workshop, exchange centre, guest apartments and a lot of community activities across the properties.
