Hellerup is a great city, just about 8 km north of Copenhagen K. Hellerup is at the finer end, but there is room for everyone. Almost everything is found here. Port, beach, forest, parks, shopping and a cosy atmosphere. It is relatively quiet, although the Strandvejen may be a little busy in the summer, as all the walkways north to the many beaches and natural areas. Hellerup lies right in the middle of Copenhagen and urban life, and then north where it is so incredibly beautiful. Within a few kilometres of Charlottenlund Fort, Bellevue Strand, Bernstoff Castle / Park and Bakken. Hellerup is known for its good schools (Private and international schools) and institutions, and here also 2 colleges. It's really child-friendly.
